Assault on Professor: police seize car

Police have seized a car, which is suspected to have been used for taking the assailants of Professor T. J. Joseph to the hospital.

It is learnt that the car belonged to a person residing at Kalady.

The assailants had sustained injuries while trying to chop off the right hand of Prof. Joseph who teaches Malayalam at Newman College in Thodupuzha, for preparing an alleged inflammatory question paper.
