Antony calls on Achuthanandan in Kozhikode

Defence Minister A. K. Antony called on veteran CPI(M) leader V. S. Achuthanandan in Kozhikode on Sunday.

Mr. Antony met Mr. Achuthanandan at the latter’s room in the Government Guest House, where both the leaders are staying.

Emerging from the 10-minute-long interaction, Mr. Antony described it as ‘a friendly meeting’ with the Leader of the Opposition in Kerala Assembly.

Mr. Antony, a former Kerala Chief Minister, arrived here this morning to attend various programmes, while Mr. Achuthanandan is camping in the town since yesterday.
