The alumni of the 1987-1991 batch of the TKM College of Engineering are organising a reunion on the college campus on August 13 to celebrate the silver jubilee of their graduation.
The programme, “Reconnect 2016”, will commence with a limited-over cricket match by the batchmates who used to be cricketers during their college days. Trophies in memory of those batchmates who are no more will be presented to the winners.
Vehicle donation
The reunion will be marked by a humanitarian act, through which the alumni will be donating a vehicle for the palliative care unit of the Kollam Corporation. The keys of the vehicle will be received by Mayor V. Rajendrababu. They will also donate Rs.10 lakh to help engineering students from the economically weak families. A public meeting in this connection will be inaugurated by TKM Trust president Shahal Hassan Musaliar. Convener of the event Suni Kumar V.V. will preside over the function and college Principal S. Ayub will deliver the keynote address.
