Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation, the combine of A class cinemas in the State, has called off its strike demanding a higher revenue share in the first week of release.

P.V. Basheer Ahamed, president of the federation, said on Saturday that the decision was taken based on the stance taken by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vinayan that the organization should withdraw the strike and attend the talks being convened by the government on January 25 to sort out various issues in the industry.

We would start releasing movies from today, he said.
