Excise circle inspector B. Suresh identified the arrested as Rahul Raju, 25, and his accomplice as Vishnu, both hailing from Pandalam.

Many cases

Mr. Suresh said Rahul and Vishnu were suspects in several criminal cases, registered at various places in the Pathanamthitta district. The two had fled Pandalam a couple of months ago.

They were staying at Pullikada Colony in Kollam city.

Mr. Suresh said the duo sourced ganja from Anakapalle in Andhra Pradesh.
