: The Revenue Department has issued stop memo to 13 resorts under construction in the Kanan Devan Hills village. Devikulam Revenue Divisional Officer Sabin Sameed had a week ago ordered to stop all constructions in eight villages coming under the Munnar tribunal. Stop memo has been given to resorts under construction in the Munnar and Devikulam areas.
Encroachments
The stop memo has been issued after rampant encroachments were noticed in the areas.
The encroachments were reported to have been made during the last election period.
Notice has been issued to vacate the area under the Community Health Centre in Devikaulam where a shed existed on encroached land.
