A 28-year-old youth was found murdered in Jayanagar early on Saturday.
The deceased, Dinesh, is a dailywage worker and the son of a kerosene vendor. The incident comes close to the recent murders of Devendra of Paduvarahalli and RSS activist Raju.
Recent incidents
Though Devendra was suspected to be murdered following a long-running feud with rival gangs, the authorities remain clueless in the case of Raju’s murder, while the objective behind the killing of Dinesh is yet to be ascertained.
The incident came to the light when a resident saw Dinesh in a pool of blood and alerted the police.
Investigation under way
The Ashokapuram police said the victim’s head was smashed with a boulder. Police officials have launched an investigation.
