The Karnataka High Court on Friday asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file its objections to the plea of the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to permit him to travel outside Bangalore by relaxing the condition imposed to him not to go outside Bangalore city while granting to him bail in the corruption case related to alleged receipt of crores of rupees as kickbacks from mining firms.

Justice Subhash B Adi, who heard the application, adjourned further hearing to August 13. B.Y. Raghavendra, a Member of Parliament and son of Mr. Yeddyurappa, too has sought relaxation of conditions. Both have sought relaxation of conditions for the reason that they would like to tour the State.
