Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said here on Wednesday that there was no illegal mining in the State, but added that he would order a probe if he received any complaints in this regard. Talking to presspersons before attending a function at Kataknur village, near here, he said the Lokayukta which conducted an investigation had submitted its report to the government, and Chief Secretary S.V. Ranganath was examining it.

He expressed the hope that the BJP would win the maximum number of seats in elections from the local authorities constituencies to the Legislative Council.
