Yeddyurappa meets Gadkari in Nagpur

Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa, who survived an attempt to dislodge him from the post of Chief Minister, today called on party chief Nitin Gadkari at his residence here.

Mr. Yeddyurappa was accompanied by party general secretary and senior leader Ananth Kumar, State BJP president Eswarappa and organising secretary Santosh.

Mr. Gadkari was closeted with Mr. Yeddyurappa, Ananth Kumar and Eswarappa separately.

Declining to divulge what transpired at the meetings, Mr. Gadkari told reporters, “They had come to extend Diwali greetings.”
