Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa on Friday paddled a bi-cycle and led his party members in BJP’s protest against the price rise.

The cycle rally, which started from Mahatma Gandhi statue and concluded at the Raj Bhavan, was attended by the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleague K. S. Eshwarappa.

About 70 BJP leaders, including MPs, MLAs and MLCs, were part of the rally organised in protest against the spiralling prices of essential commodities.

The leaders later submitted a memorandum to Governor H. R. Bhardwaj.
