Workshop to highlight employment issues of people with disabilities

The Karnataka State Government Disabled Employees’ Association will celebrate its silver jubilee year on December 28, with a workshop for government employees who have disabilities.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate it at the Vidhana Souda, said S. Renukaradhya, president of the association.

At a press conference on Monday, Mr. Renuka radhya said the focus would be to arrive at a framework to increase employability of people with disabilities in public and private sectors. They will try to build a consensus on creating a disabled-friendly atmosphere at workplace. Staff Reporter
