Workshop on haemophilia

Manipal College of Nursing (MCON) and the Haemophilia Society organised a hands-on workshop on ‘Management of patients with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders’ at the Medical Simulation Centre here on Friday.

The objective was to enhance knowledge and skill among nurses from government and private hospitals at Manipal and Mangaluru. Annamma Kurien, Associate Dean, Melaka Manipal Medical College, and president of Manipal Haemophilia Society, stressed the importance of nursing care for patients with bleeding disorders.
