August 02, 2014 11:45 am | Updated 11:45 am IST - BELGAUM:

All eyes are on Moin Junnedi, a 15-year-old boy with 200-plus factures in his highly delicate and crippled body, who left here on Friday to participate in the 10th IWAS (International Wheel Chair and Amputee Sports) Junior World Games being held at Stroke Mandeville, United Kingdom, from August 3 to 8. His coach Umesh Kalghatgi is accompanying him. Mr. Kalghatgi said that Moin, fondly called the “Wonder boy of India” for his significant achievements in swimming, is an “aquatic star” of the Swimmers Club and Aquarius Swim Club of Belgaum. Moin has participated in one international and five national swimming competitions for persons with disabilities and won 11 medals — 10 gold and one silver.
