Under attack from Opposition parties in the legislature and the public following an increase in the cases of sexual assault on women and children, Minister for Home K.J. George on Wednesday said he would constitute a high-level committee comprising legislators, former police officers, NGO representatives and experts to study and make recommendations on issues related to the safety of women and children in the State.
