With incessant rain in the catchment areas of the Cauvery in Kodagu, water-level in the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) rose to 115 ft. on Friday evening.
The full-reservoir level is 124.8 ft.
Water-level had been steadily rising also because of the rain in areas on the upstream of reservoir in Mandya, an officer at Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Ltd. told The Hindu on Friday.
Inflow into the reservoir was at 19,330 cubic feet per second (cusecs) and outflow was at 3,803 cusecs at 6.30 p.m. on Friday, an officer at the Engineering Regulation Section (Gauging), Irrigation Department, said.
