The annual convocation of the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will be held in the auditorium at Jnana Sangama campus here on May 9 (Saturday) at 11 a.m.
On the occasion, various degrees would be awarded to the candidates graduating from the VTU.
VTU Registrar in a notification issued recently said, that the Governor and Chancellor of the VTU would be awarding the degrees only for the Gold Medalists and First Rank holders in under-graduate, post-graduate and Ph.D. awardees for the year 2013-14.
Those who wish to collect degree certificates from the VTU office same day or on May 11 by producing identity card issued by their respective college. Degrees would be sent by post to others immediately after the convocation.
