Vijaykumar’s father worried about his son’s fate

The family of M.S. Vijayakumar, who was one of the four Indians abducted by ISIS terrorists in Libya, have urged the government to make all diplomatic efforts for his return.

Mr. Vijaykumar, who is working as an assistant professor in Libya, is a native of Bangarpet in Kolar district.

Mr. Vijaykumar’s wife and two children live in Koramanagala in Bengaluru. His father Srinivas, a retired sub inspector of police, mother, as well as brother, Hemanth who works as physical education teacher, continue to reside in Bangarpet.

56-year-old Vijaykumar did his primary education in Mulbagal in the district and graduated from Government First Grade College in Kolar in 1981.

Shocked on hearing the news about his son’s abduction, Mr. Srinivas pleaded the Indian government to ensure the return of Mr. Vijaykumar.
