Two persons dead, 20 injured as bus falls into gorge in Charmadi Ghat

Two persons died and 20 commuters were injured when a private bus from Kerala fell into a gorge in Charmadi Ghat in Dharmastala police station limits on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports reaching here, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. Police and the people nearby rushed to the spot to rescue the commuters.

Superintendent of Police Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, who is on his way to the spot, said two died on the spot. The injured persons were shifted to hospitals nearby. The condition of three injured persons was serious.
