Mysuru City Corporation is laying 3-km underground drainage line from Chandravana Park in Saraswathipuram to Hunsur Road.

The MCC dug up the road adjacent to the Kukkarahalli lake following which motorists are finding it difficult to commute on that stretch. So, traffic density has increased in residential localities in Saraswathipuram, Bogadi, Gangothri Layout and Kuvempunagar. According to officials of the MCC, 800 mm RCC pipeline is being laid at a cost of Rs. 2 crore sanctioned under the Chief Minister’s special grant. Work on the road will be completed in a fortnight, the officials said and appealed to the people to cooperate with the MCC.
