Three persons, including the son of a noted industrialist from Kalaburagi, were killed on the spot, when the car they were travelling in collided 0with a container lorry on the Pune Highway near Pandharpur on Sunday evening.
Amit B. Patil (34), son of an industrialist Basavaraj G. Patil, was driving the car when the incident occurred.
Mr. Patil and two his staff — Subhash Korwar and Santosh — were on their way back to Kalaburagi from Pandharpur in Maharashtra. A case has been registered, the police said.
