‘Their behaviour is unpardonable'

January 20, 2012 09:37 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:40 pm IST - Bangalore:

Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda has described as “unpardonable” the act of advocates who went on a snap stir on Tuesday and brought the city to a grinding halt for hours.

Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday, he said that the advocates, who know the law well, should not have taken law into their hands in such a manner.

Their behaviour, he said, had angered hapless citizens of Bangalore who faced great hardship on account of the agitation, which was over a “trivial matter” that could have been settled through a simple negotiation.
