The Hindu EducationPlus career counselling in Bidar today

The Hindu EducationPlus career guidance session will be held in Bidar on May 23. P.C. Jaffer, Deputy Commissioner, will inaugurate the event at Karnataka Arts, Science and Commerce College on Hyderabad Road, at 10 a.m. Entry is free.

Apart from information about the seat selection process in the common entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, students will also get information about various kinds of courses and careers on offer in various state and national level institutions.

‘Fusing career and passion’, a career guidance handbook, will be distributed to all students. K.M. Mugali, a resource person from KEA and career counsellor Tanveer Ahmed from Cygma foundation, will speak.

B.K. Badiger, painter and member, Karnataka Lalitakala Academy, will introduce students to a career in performing arts.

Later students can interact with resource persons from the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries University, College of Horticulture, Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, and GND engineering college.
