A match being played at the North Karnataka Invitation Tennis Tournament at the Bidar Police Tennis Club in Bidar on Saturday.

Around 150 sportspersons are competing in the annual championship organised by the Bidar Police Tennis Club in Bidar. The North Karnataka Invitation Tennis Tournament has attracted members of tennis clubs from Maharashtra and Telangana apart from some districts in Karnataka.

Matches will be in three categories, under 30, above 30 and veterans. Doubles matches were played on Saturday and singles were completed by Friday evening. Finals will be held on Sunday.

Veteran tennis player C.T. Patil and others are participating.

Home Secretary K.V. Gagandeep, IGP Sunil Agarwal, SP Amit Singh, Kalaburagi and DC Vipul Bansal also played some games. P.C. Jaffer, Deputy Commissioner, and Sudheer Kumar Reddy, SP, inaugurated the tournament in Bidar on Friday.
