Team formed to nab murder accused

The Mandya district police have formed a special team to nab Dr. Raghavendra, assistant professor with the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) who allegedly killed his wife D. Tejaswini (26) on Saturday.

Tejaswini was found dead, with injuries near her neck, at her residence at Kallahalli off the Bangalore-Mysore Highway.

Her relatives alleged that Dr. Raghavendra and his family members had killed Tejaswini.

The victim’s father, Devaraju, a native of Channapatna, has filed a murder case against Dr. Raghavendra, an officer at Mandya East police station told The Hindu here on Monday night.
