“Studying sincerely to face competitive exams enabled me to emerge successful. I am happy that I secured the ranks as anticipated”. This was the reaction of S.R. Apuroopa, who has found a place in the top five ranks at the State level in the Common Entrance Test (CET).

Apuroopa, daughter of businessman Goutam Reddy and student of Narayana PU College in Ballari, thanked her parents and teachers for their support. “Teachers were always there to clarify any doubt which helped me a lot,” she told The Hindu .

Apuroopa has been awaiting the NEET results before taking a final decision on pursuing the professional course. “I am interested in research and If I get a medical seat, I would like to concentrate on research. As of now I have got a seat in Indian Institute of Science (IISc)”, she said.
