The South Western Railways has announced the speeding up of 17 trains in its jurisdiction from November 1.
Train number 22678 Kochuveli-Yeshwantpur Express has been speeded up by 25 minutes and will depart at 12.50 p.m. instead of 12.40 p.m., while the corresponding service in the return direction from Yeswantpur has been speeded up by five minutes. There is no change in its departure timings of 3.20 p.m.
The Shivamogga-KSR Bengaluru Express has been speeded up by 20 minutes and will depart at 3 p.m. instead of 3.30 p.m. and in the return direction, it has been speeded up by 25 minutes and will depart at 6.40 p.m.
Similarly, the Chamarajanagar-Tirupati Express has been speeded up by 20 minutes and will depart at 3.10 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. and the corresponding service from Tirupati has been speeded up by 10 minutes with no change in the departure timing. Train number 16227 Mysuru-Bengaluru-Talaguppa Express has been speeded up by 30 minutes and will depart at 7.40 p.m. instead of 7.10 p.m., but the running time of the corresponding service has been reduced only by 5 minutes and it will depart at 8.20 p.m. Train number 17301 Mysuru-Dharwad Express has been speeded up by 15 minutes, but there is no change in the running time of the corresponding service.
The running time of train number 56217 Talaguppa-Shivamogga Express has been reduced by 20 minutes and that of the corresponding service by 15 minutes. Train number 16577 Yeshwantpur-Harihar Express has been speeded up 15 minutes and the corresponding service by 10 minutes. But the train will depart at 6.15 a.m. instead of 5 a.m.
The Mysuru-Shivamogga service (56270) has been speeded up by 5 minutes. The Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Junction Express has been speeded up by 35 minutes and Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Jn-Karwar by 45 minutes and departure timings have been revised to 7.10 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. Train number 56515 Bengaluru-Hubballi Passenger has been speeded up by 5 minutes with no change in departure timings.
