Suresh Angadi appointed Chairperson of Parliament House Committee

Suresh C. Angadi, who is serving his third consecutive term as member of the Lok Sabha from Belagavi, was appointed Chairperson of the House Committee, a parliamentary standing committee, by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Thursday.

The outgoing Chairperson, Arunram Meghwal, handed over the charge on completion of the one-year term of the office, at New Delhi, according to sources in Mr. Angadi’s office here. The committee was re-constituted with 11 of the 12 members (one vacant) on June 12 this year.
