The second instalment of supplementary estimates of Rs. 3,296.46 crore was tabled in the Legislative Council on Wednesday. Of this, Rs. 744.84 crore is for the charged expenditure, and the remaining Rs. 2,551.62 crore is towards voted expenditure.
The net out-go from the consolidated fund is Rs. 2,204.89 crore as Rs. 1,091.57 crore is met from the reserve funds. Of this, Rs. 142.77 crore is covered by Central assistance and Rs. 760.56 crore is covered by adjustments. The remaining amount will be met by suitable expenditure re-prioritisation.
