A sub-inspector and constable have been suspended in Bidar on charges of dereliction of duty and negligence.
Police sub-inspector Mallikarjun Yatanoor and constable Shivanand Metre were suspended pending further inquiry. They face charges of failing to control Matka menace in their jurisdiction, Sudheer Kumar Reddy, superintendent of police said.
