SSLC students have a reason to cheer as high school teachers, who had announced their decision to boycott evaluation, have decided to call it off. Manjunath H.K., president of the Karnataka State High School Assistant Masters’ Association, said they would report for evaluation duty that commences from April 18. The teachers will get an increase in basic pay ranging from Rs. 400 to Rs. 800. “The government has promised to ensure that we get one round of increment from June and we are happy for the time being,” he said.
