The Southern Railway will operate a special fare special train between Kochuveli and Mangaluru Junction in the months of April and May to clear the extra rush.
Train No. 06012 will leave Kochuveli at 9.15 p.m. on April 7 and April 14 to arrive at Mangaluru Junction at 11.30 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06013 will leave Mangaluru Junction at 3.40 p.m. on April 10, April 17 and May 1 to arrive at Kochuveli at 5 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06014 will leave Kochuveli at 10 p.m. on April 29 to arrive at Mangaluru Junction at 1 p.m. the next day.
The trains will have commercial halts at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. They will comprise one 2-tier AC coach; one 3-tier AC coach; 12 sleeper class coaches; five unreserved coaches; and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
