S.M. Krishna meets Catalonia President

The former External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna on Friday met a team of 40 company heads from Catalonia, led by its President Arthur Mas.

Investment potential

Talking to presspersons, here on Friday, Mr. Krishna said when he had visited Catalonia during his tenure as External Affairs Minister, he had invited industrialists from that country to invest in Karnataka.

“We discussed about various investment opportunities in Karnataka,” he said.

Condoled

Mr Krishna condoled the death of Vittal Bhimappa Arabhavi., the farmer who committed suicide in Belgaum.

He said the government should initiate measures to protect the interests of farmers.
