Sky gazing programme in Udupi today

The Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers’ Club (PAAC) has organised a sky gazing programme on the rooftop of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM) from 6.15 p.m. here on Tuesday. According to a press release issued here on Monday, A.P. Bhat, Coordinator of PAAC, who is also the Head of the Department of Physics at Poornaprajna College, said that sky gazers would be able to watch the planets Venus and Mercury on Tuesday and two subsequent days.

Mercury would be visible close to Venus in the West direction after sunset from Tuesday to Thursday. The PAAC would arrange its telescopes on the rooftop of PIM from 6.15 p.m. on Tuesday to watch these celestial bodies.
