Six die in road accident in Belgaum

Six persons of a family, including two children, were killed on the spot and another grievously injured when the car by which they were travelling hit a stationary lorry near Shrinagar on Pune-Bangalore National Highway 4 in Belgaum South traffic police limits on Monday.

The condition of the injured, Anuradha Chandrashekhar Sattur, is stated to be serious.

Her husband, Chandrashekhar, was among those killed. The names of the dead were given as Jinappa and Gouravva Sattur (parents of Chandrashekhar), Ravi Sattur, whose age could be immediately ascertained, three-year-old Yukti Sattur and four-year-old Vaibhav Tarapure.
