Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday certified his three-year rule in Karnataka as “scam-free.” Unlike in the previous BJP government, no Minister of his government had gone to jail on charges of corruption, he said.

On the occasion of completing three years in office, Mr. Siddaramaiah released a 140-page booklet on achievements of the Congress government and said “transparency” was maintained in the administration, and pro-people policies were implemented. “There are no corruption cases against my government. All allegations made by the Opposition parties are baseless,” he said at a presser where he read out his major achievements.
