Two men robbed a garment shop owner and made away with valuables worth Rs. 50,000 in Ramamurthy Nagar on Wednesday night.

Sunil, the owner of Suman textiles, was about to close the shop when two men entered as customers. They soon overpowered him and tied him up before robbing his wrist watch, gold ring and cash. Sunil managed to untie himself and called his family for help.

Sunil told the police that while two robbed him inside the shop, four others were waiting outside to guard.

The Ramamurthy Nagar police have taken up a case.
