Set up a training centre for paraliliatry force in Bidar: MP

MP Bhagwant Khuba has urged the Union Government to set up a training centre of one of the Central Paramilitary Forces in Bidar.

“I met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to set up a training centre of either Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Security Guard or Sashastra Seema Bal,” Mr. Khuba said in a release. He has also sought setting up of permanent Defence Services Recruitment Centres for the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. His other demand is the inclusion of Koli and Kuruba castes in the list of scheduled tribes.

Mr. Khuba informed to the PM about the work on six new national highways and major roads to be taken up in the district. “I gave him a report on the number of beneficiaries under MUDRA and other schemes,” Mr Khuba said.
