Even as efforts are on to convince the seer of Moorusavir Math Sri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swami to withdraw his decision to step down from the peetha, the seer has clarified that he had no intention of returning to Hubballi.

Speaking to presspersons at the Hanagal Kumaraswami Math in Hanagal, Sri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swami has said that he had no intention of returning to Hubballi and continue as the head of Moorusavir Math as he had already abdicated the peetha.

Meanwhile the former Minister Basavaraj Horatti said that the seer had taken a good decision by abdicating the peetha as politics had entered the math and he was under a lot of pressure.
