BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday rubbished a media report which suggested that former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa broke his laptop out of anger when he was informed about the party high command’s decision to remove him from the post.

“Reports which appeared in a section of the press that Mr. B S Yeddyurappa had lost his temper and broke my laptop are totally false and has no basis whatsoever,” he told reporters outside Parliament.

Mr. Naidu said he does not carry a laptop and did not meet Mr. Yeddyurappa till he resigned as the State Chief Minister and wrote a letter to party president Nitin Gadkari.

“After that we both met in a social conference. There was no such incident at all. I will take up the issue with the media organisation,” he said.
