Rabid dog bites six persons

The Mandya City Municipal Council (CMC) personnel on Thursday captured a rabid dog which attacked and injured at least six persons at different places in Subhash Nagar in Mandya.

According to Mandya City Municipal Council (CMC) president B. Siddaraju, the dog went on a biting spree and injured the people walking on streets at Subhash Nagar.

Later, the CMC and veterinary department officials impounded the dog.

Vaccine

Meanwhile, District Health Officer H.P. Manchegowda asked people to take anti-rabies vaccine if they were bitten by the rabid dog.
