Students staged a protest march at Robertsonpet in Kolar Gold Fields on Monday seeking protection to girl students in view of growing assaults and sexual atrocities on them.
Organised under Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat, the students raised slogans against State government for its alleged failure in providing adequate protection to girl students.
The protesters alleged that atrocities on girl students are on the rise due to not taking stringent actions against the perpetrators of the crimes.
