Drinking water problem in the district would be solved by and large once the scheme was completed, he said.
Mr. Bhaskar said that the supply of drinking water had been affected largely because of frequent power cuts. He said that it had been planned to get power connection under the Niranthara Jyothi scheme for water works across the district to ensure that supply of water was not be hit by frequent power cuts.
