The Mulbagal police have arrested one person in connection with a murder.
The police gave the name of the arrested as Venkobarao, who reportedly murdered his younger brother Rameshrao (40).
The police claimed that Venkobarao brutally murdered Rameshrao, while the latter was drinking tea at a hotel in broad daylight at Yalachepalli coming under Mulbagal police limits on Thursday. Venkobarao allegedly committed the crime with the help of his son Somashekhar.
The police said that both brothers lived separately and were engaged in a bitter feud with regard to division to property. It is that village leaders negotiated between the brothers several times in the past.
A case has been registered and search is on for Somashekhar, who is said to be absconding.
