The Maddur police have launched a probe into the alleged irregularities in recruitment made to the Mandya Milk Manufacturers’ Union Ltd. (MANMUL) recently.

It is alleged that the management of the MANMUL was involved in a job scam while recruiting people for various posts. Of the 145 persons recruited to the union, a few persons had submitted fake marks cards and experience certificates.

Following allegations, the Mandya District Co-operative Milk Producers Societies had recently conducted an internal inquiry and filed a complaint against Jagadeesh Madivalara and G.S. Sudeep for securing jobs at the union after allegedly furnishing fake marks cards, sources at the Maddur police station said.
