The police have arrested Parameshwarappa, 45, principal of a PU College in Chikkamagaluru town on the charge of rape and criminal intimidation. Chikkamagaluru SP K. Annamalai, in a release, said a student phoned him and complained that the principal had subjected her to sexual harassment.
Upon verifying her complaint, a case was registered.
