Poster war during Modi’s Tumkur visit

September 24, 2014 10:44 am | Updated April 20, 2016 06:03 am IST - Tumkur:

It has become a war of posters in Tumkur where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a food park on Wednesday as both the Congress and the BJP are trying to demonstrate their strength through posters.

While the BJP posters greet Mr. Modi, the Congress posters welcome Chief Minister Siddaramaih who is also participating in the event. Some of the Congress posters also have the pictures of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.

The posters have been put up by both the parties at all the vantage locations in the city. Such is the intensity of the poster war that some of the stretches have Congress posters on one side and BJP posters on the other side.
