After spending four months in prison, French consulate official Pascal Mazurier was released from the Central Prison on Thursday after members of the Child Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting (CRISP) provided local surety for him.

Mr. Mazurier dodged the media personnel with the help of the police who drove right into the prison and drove out with full security.

A team of French officials followed the police vehicle while Naveen Roland and others from CRISP left little later. Mr. Mazurier was arrested in June after his wife, Suja Jones Mazurier, accused him of sexually abusing their little daughter, now four.
