Overcoming disability to get remarkable CGPA

In the midst of the race for the perfect CGPA, Devanshi Jain of Delhi Public School, Bangalore North, proved that no disability can come in her way of a getting a remarkable CGPA.

Devanshi Jain, who is visually challenged, loved mathematics and scored a CGPA of 7.8. “I love studying and maths is my favourite subject. My teachers are the reason I was confident while writing my exam. During regular classes, while one teacher taught the entire class, another teacher was specially assigned to explain things to me.”

On writing the exam, she said, “On the day of the first exam I was scared because I wasn’t writing my own paper, someone was writing it for me. But once I started interacting with her (scribe), I got comfortable.”

Devanshi wants to pursue arts in higher studies.
