The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday reserved its verdict on petitions filed by former syndicate members of Mysore and Bangalore universities challenging their removal from the Syndicate after the Congress government came to power in the State.
Justice Ashok B. Hinchigeri reserved the verdict after the completion of hearing on the petitions filed by A.M. Bhaskar and others, former nominated members of Mysore University Syndicate, and C.K. Jagadish and others, former nominated members of Bangalore University Syndicate.
Meanwhile, the court ordered issue of notice to the State government on a petition filed by A.P. Narayanappa and others, challenging their removal from the Syndicate of Kuvempu University.
